Dear Employers,
Surely it would make more sense to choose your canditates carefully rather just employ for the sake of having bodies. Sometimes, I just wonder what was your thought process in hiring certain people, I work with them for 5 minutes and all that is spewing out from them is "I don't want to here."
It gets frustrating.
Surely, being able to answer 'What does customer service mean to you?" is not the only acceptable benchmark? *sighs*
However, what's furiating is when you are running around and he/she is standing there, possibly daydreaming. I hate dictatorship but it's almost a must because if I didn't demand for things to be done, it simply won't be done.
I'm not singling out "youngsters", it's across the board. It feels like it is acceptable to adopt the 'You Didn't Tell Me, How Am I Suppose To Know?' mindset - not being able to think for themself.
Perhaps I should just relax. Easier said than done. I will be one who cleans up after everyone. It's got nothing to do with fairness, it's knowing that the interviewer had asked, "what does team work mean to you and provide an example of when you worked in a successful team?" and the answer is almost the opposite of what you are doing. It doesn't measure up.
Nevermind.
If you want something you will go and do it yourself. If you don't care about it then nothing in the world will make you do it. I guess that's the difference between those who wait for opportunity and those who make opportunity happen.
On a fabulous note: I can't wait to properly visual merchandise the charity shop I volunteer at. It's going to really uplift it all. Break all stereotypical associations. It's going to be fun, fun, stressful, fun, hard work, fun!
